| and driven hard. At least all the ones I looked at in my area. Almost all the manual ones I test drove were in no condition that I would purchase. I realized that the automatic ones tend to be less abused. Also, I did not want to spend more than 7k on the car itself. I knew I would be taking the car apart to modify it so I counted the 5spd swap as an option. Oh and most of the manual ones, that were mostly 90-93, with higher miles, were priced above 12k. I would not spend that much on a car that I knew I would be pulling the engine out of and messing around with.
